ADA Compliant Exit Route Sign – 6"x6" Tactile with Braille

Install this ADA and California Title 24 compliant EXIT ROUTE sign on the wall beside doors that lead to an exit passageway. California (CBC 11B-216.4.1) and the IBC (Section 1013.4) require tactile exit signs at these doors, with raised letters and Grade 2 Braille.

Installation: Mount on the wall beside the door, on the latch side. Place the tactile text between 48" and 60" above the finished floor, with an 18" x 18" clear floor space in front of the sign, outside the door swing.

Note: Use EXIT for doors that lead directly outside, and EXIT STAIR DOWN or UP for doors into an exit stairway.
