ADA Compliant Exit Stair Up Sign – 6"x6" Tactile with Braille

Mark doors into an exit stairway with this ADA and California Title 24 compliant EXIT STAIR UP sign, with raised tactile letters and Grade 2 Braille. Use it where the exit discharge is above the floor level, as required by CBC 11B-216.4.1 and IBC Section 1013.4.

  • Text: "EXIT STAIR UP" in 1/32" raised uppercase sans-serif letters
  • Braille: Grade 2, below the text
  • Thickness: 1/8" acrylic

Installation: Mount on the wall beside the door, on the latch side. Place the tactile text between 48" and 60" above the finished floor, with an 18" x 18" clear floor space in front of the sign, outside the door swing.

Note: Brushed Aluminum is made to order, with a brushed-silver face and black lettering. Where the exit discharge is below the floor level, use EXIT STAIR DOWN instead.
