ADA Compliant Exit Sign – 6"x6" Tactile with Braille

Mark exit doors with this 6" x 6" ADA and California Title 24 compliant EXIT sign, with raised tactile letters and Grade 2 Braille. California (CBC 11B-216.4.1) and the IBC (Section 1013.4) require a tactile EXIT sign at each grade-level exterior exit door.

Installation: Mount on the wall beside the door, on the latch side. Place the tactile text between 48" and 60" above the finished floor, with an 18" x 18" clear floor space in front of the sign, outside the door swing.

Note: This is the tactile EXIT sign required at exit doors. It is not an illuminated exit sign. For doors into an exit stairway, use EXIT STAIR DOWN or EXIT STAIR UP.
