ADA Compliant Men's Restroom Sign – Braille II, Non-Accessible
Identify a men's restroom that is not the accessible one with this 6" x 9" ADA wall sign, with a raised men's pictogram, raised letters and Grade 2 Braille. Restroom signs identify permanent rooms, so they need tactile text and Braille even when the room is not accessible (2010 ADA Standards, Section 216.2).
Product Features:
- Size: 6" x 9"
- Text: "MEN" in 1/32" raised uppercase letters, with a raised pictogram (no ISA)
- Braille: Grade 2, below the text
- Finish: matte, non-glare, with high-contrast graphics
- Colors: Blue, Black, Brown, Silver, White
- Mounting: high-bond double-sided tape
- Standards: built to the 2010 ADA Standards (Section 703) and CBC Chapter 11B
- SKUs: MNA-BLU, MNA-BLK, MNA-BRN, MNA-SLV, MNA-WHT
Installation: Mount on the wall beside the door, on the latch side. Place the tactile text between 48" and 60" above the finished floor, with an 18" x 18" clear floor space in front of the sign, outside the door swing.
Note: Use this sign only where the restroom is not accessible; accessible restrooms need the sign with the International Symbol of Accessibility (§216.8). In California, also add a 12" triangle symbol on the door.
