ADA Compliant Signage
ADA sign is a sign that is designed to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which is a federal law that was enacted in 1990 to ensure that people with disabilities have equal access to public facilities and services. ADA signs are used to provide information, wayfinding, and identification in public buildings, such as offices, hospitals, schools, and government buildings.
ADA signs are required to have specific features, such as high-contrast lettering and Braille, to make them accessible to people with visual impairments. The signs must also be mounted in a location where they can be easily seen and reached by people in wheelchairs. The ADA also sets requirements for the size, font, and spacing of the text on the signs.
