ADA Compliant To Exit Sign – 6"x3" Tactile with Braille

Mark doors that lead from a room or area toward an exit stair or ramp with this ADA and California Title 24 compliant TO EXIT sign. It has raised tactile letters and Grade 2 Braille, as required for these doors by CBC 11B-216.4.1 and IBC Section 1013.4.

  • Text: "TO EXIT" in 1/32" raised uppercase sans-serif letters
  • Braille: Grade 2, below the text
  • Thickness: 1/8" acrylic
  • Finish: matte, non-glare, with high-contrast letters
  • Colors: Black, Blue, Brown, Silver, Brushed Aluminum
  • Mounting: high-bond double-sided tape
  • Standards: built to the 2010 ADA Standards (Section 703) and CBC Chapter 11B

Installation: Mount on the wall beside the door, on the latch side. Place the tactile text between 48" and 60" above the finished floor, with an 18" x 18" clear floor space in front of the sign, outside the door swing.

Note: Brushed Aluminum is made to order, with a brushed-silver face and black lettering.
